Background: Hepatitis B and C are chronic diseases with mental social impacts which can result in poor quality of life. The routes transmission lack education among the masses may cause stigmatisation affected patients. aim study was to document hepatitis positive Methods: 242 patients suffering from were included study. Stigma experienced relatives, friends, spouse health care providers assessed using a semi structured questionnaire. Results: Majority males 174 (72%). 162 (67%) infected 76 (32%) 4 dual infected. Male significantly more than females term changes lifestyle (86% versus 61%) relationship (89% 16%). Significantly reported feelings loneliness isolation (64% 30%). marked terms disease transmission, 170 (70%) fearing that they could transmit infection others.
